Jo	Savannah

Helen
After managing a very large London salon, Helen had always wanted to own her own so that she could create an individual salon experience and do things better! Helen moved to Dorset and was introduced to Aveda. In December of 2006 Salon on the Square opened, initially as a Hair Salon and then in December of 2008 upstairs opened to two Beauty rooms and a specialist colour room. Helen remains on the shop floor and regularly attends business and hair courses at the Aveda Academy in London. The Salon continues to grow and Helen is always striving to attain perfection and feels that attention to detail is very important. She welcomes you to Salon on the Square.

Paul
As a hairdresser and colourist, my aim is to offer each customer something bespoke and unique. My training started at Andrew Collinge in my home town of Liverpool alongside Trevor Sorbie and Andrew Barton to name but a few! I have worked for Aveda for 8 years, including Aveda Art Team and seen my work appear in trade and consumer magazines, winning various awards along my career path. I am passionate about what the Aveda's Mission Statement represents, caring for the world we live in.

Lesley
Lesley joined the Salon in 2007 and is a very experienced Creative Director. In her everyday work she enjoys a challenge and loves to be creative. Another aspect that she really likes is training the Apprentices as this allows her to share her knowledge of hairdressing. Lesley is proud of the great rapport that she has with her clients.

Nici
Nici is an accomplished and experienced Creative Director, she trained in London and has become a valued member of the team since she joined in 2007. During her career she has trained in Advanced Cutting and Perming and specialises in Hair Up and Bridal Hair. She also regularly attends the Aveda Academy in London for inspiration and ideas.

Jon
Jon joined the Salon in 2007 after completing his training. He is a very experienced Creative Director and specialises in cutting. He is a regular at Aveda's London Academy and loves creating innovative and manageable styles whether it's Ladies, Gents or Children!

Carly
Carly is a Senior Stylist who joined the Salon as an Apprentice right at the very beginning in 2006 when the Salon first opened. Carly was the first Apprentice at Salon on the Square to complete her training and gain her NVQ 2 in hairdressing, since then she has progressed through the Salon and is a popular member of the team.

Jo
Jo joined the team in 2008 as a Beauty Therapist. She trained and worked in London for many years. Jo really enjoys working with Aveda products and giving the luxurious treatments to her clientele.

Mel
Mel joined the team as a Trainee in 2007 and completed her NVQ 2 in hairdressing in 2009. She started on the floor as an Academic Stylist and in 2011 she progressed to a Stylist. Mel specialises in Hair up and Bridal hair but enjoys all aspects of the job!

Jade
Jade is our newly qualified stylist. She has been trained by our very best team and has gained a distinction level NVQ at Weymouth College day release. She is now furthering her development by going to Aveda in London on a 2 day cutting course. Jade is now ready to style clients hair and her prices are only £15.00 for a cut and blow dry.

Lucy
Our new salon coordinator. Lucy is a graduate from the University of Reading and has worked as a project manager in the past. She is very enthusiastic and enjoys working at the salon!

Charlie
Charlie studied Art and Photography at A-level, and is now enjoying working with the team at the salon. He is looking forward to becoming a qualified hairdresser after completing his apprenticeship at Weymouth College.

Emily
Emily has completed 2 years training at Colfox School and is now very lucky to be offered an apprenticeship with such an amazing salon. She is passionate about hair and likes learning new things.

Savannah
Savannah joined us in 2012 after finishing her three year hairdressing course at college. She is bubbly and hard working and hopes to be able to start on the salon floor as a hair stylist in the near future. Savannah is also now a very competent beautician having been on manicure, pedicure and waxing courses.
